Here's what's happening at the UK Gallery in March...
Here are the important dates to mark on your calendar this month!
1st: WWII BOMBER COMMAND & VULCAN SIGNING EVENT - We’re delighted to be joined at the UK Gallery by veterans who served with RAF Bomber Command during WWII & Post-War Aircrew who worked on the Avro Vulcan, in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Vulcan XH558's first flight, which became affectionately known as the 'Spirit of Great Britain' which made it's last flight in 2015. 15th: GREAT ESCAPE SIGNING EVENT (WITH SPECIAL GUESTS) - Join us for what will surely be one of our biggest events to date, where we'll be joined by FIVE veterans who were all held as POW's during WWII. We will also be joined by actor and singer John Leyton (who famously starred in the 1963 epic depiction of The Great Escape), author and historian Phil Froom and renowned aviation artist Richard Taylor who of course needs no further introduction! 22nd: CLOSED - The UK Gallery will be closed on Sunday 22nd for Mothers Day.
