Lest We Forget

Our Campaign to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal ends at 11am UK....

11 November 2020

Place any order online or on the phone over £25 and we'll donate £11 to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Over the years we’ve been fortunate to share the company of hundreds of wonderful veterans, past and present.

The heroic deeds of these men and women have not only formed the foundation of our business, but have helped to shape the free world in which we live today – they are very special people indeed.

We're proud to be supporting the Poppy Appeal and feature these moving pieces by Richard Taylor, helping to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice...

  • Flying Officer KENNETH WILKINSON
  • Flight Lieutenant TERRY CLARK DFM AE
  • Leading Aircraftsman BILL JONATHAN

FOR FREEDOM

After another perilous night-time mission over northern France, Lancasters of 106 Sqn – whose motto was ‘For Freedom’ – return to their Lincolnshire airfield, summer 1944. As the morning mist clears, an expanse of brightly coloured poppies joyfully heralds the return of the exhausted crews.

Autographed for posterity by three WWII RAF Bomber Command veterans:

  • Squadron Leader LAWRENCE 'BENNY' GOODMAN
  • Squadron Leader DOUGLAS JOSS MBE
  • Warrant Officer ROY BRIGGS

These evocative prints are expertly framed to include reproduction RAF wings and commemorative pin badges, creating stunning collectors pieces.

Both pieces are available framed or unframed and matching-number pairs are available whilst stocks allow.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
