Signed by George H W Bush - 41st President of the United States!

This incredibly sought-after piece masterfully depicts LTJG George Bush as part of a formation of TBM Avengers from Torpedo Sqn 51 (VT-51) flying a low-holding pattern in preparation for landing aboard the USS San Jacinto in August 1944.

We rarely see copies of this highly-collectible print so are delighted to have just ONE copy available which also includes two separate Double Remarques!

On 9 June 1943, three days before his 19th birthday, George H.W. Bush was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Naval Reserve to make him one of the youngest aviators in US Naval history. During his time served the man who would later become the 41st President of the United States logged over 1,220 flying hours, made 126 deck landings, flew 58 combat missions and was awarded three Air Medals.

From Robert Taylor's own personal collection!

Published in 1988, this famous print was signed at the time by George H. W. Bush and personally dedicated to Robert himself.

A very special and completely unique collector's piece that won't be around for long!

Robert Taylor recalls in his AIR COMBAT PAINTINGS Vol II book:

'With the President's heavy schedules, co-ordinating the print signing involved some of them being signed at the White House, some at Camp David, and some on board Air Force One!'
