Entering service in 1962 the Boeing CH-47 Chinook, affectionately known by it’s distinctive rotor noise as ‘Wokka Wokka’, has seen constant service as a multi-platform transport helicopter by numerous countries across the world, becoming widely admired in many theatres of conflict and many humanitarian missions for its robustness and manoeuvrability.
