MOSQUITO INTO ATTACK

Limited Edition Print by Robert Taylor

Leonard Cheshire VC was recognised as one of the most outstanding RAF Bomber Command pilots of all time. He devised the 'master bomber' technique - flying low over the target marking with flares, allowing the main force to pinpoint the target in the darkness. Cheshire flew over 100 operational missions and was awarded the Victoria Cross for his supreme courage.

This famous print dates back to the 1980s and we're delighted to have a very small quantity in MINT condition that were personally signed at the time of release by legendary aviator and VC recipient; Group Captain LEONARD CHESHIRE VC OM DSO** DFC*

TOWARDS NIGHT'S DARKNESS

Framed Collector's Piece by Robert Taylor

As the setting sun casts a golden glow, a group of Lancasters from 576 Squadron form up after departing from their Lincolnshire base at the start of a raid into Germany in late 1944. The lead aircraft UL-I (LM227) was one of only a handful of Lancasters to complete 100 operational sorties.

As a lasting tribute to all those who flew with Bomber Command, our expert team have framed this Collector's Edition print to include an original fragment of Lancaster, reproduction RAF wings, a miniature VC, a photo and the original signature of recipient Flight Lieutenant BILL REID VC
