CHRISTMAS CHEER AT THE WENDOVER GALLERY - 23rd December

Join us at the UK Gallery for our final gathering of the year!

23 December 2018

We’ll be joined by RAF veterans who served during and after WWII so it’s a great chance to mingle and have a chat whilst enjoying some festive cheer, a mince pie and a cuppa or glass of something stronger. This is not a formal signing event - just a chance to meet up with friends before the big day.

Our guests include:

Warrant Officer ROY BRIGGS - flew as a Wireless Operator on Lancasters with 576 Sqn.

Flight Lieutenant GEORGE PRICHARD - served with the Tech Signals Radar (Air) Branch with 151 Sqn on Mosquitos.

Squadron Leader DOUGLAS JOSS MBE - served as a Rear Gunner on Lancasters with 626 Sqn.

Air Vice-Marshal GEORGE BLACK CB OBE AFC* - flew Meteors, Javelins, Hunters, Seahawks and Lightnings with 74, 111 & 5 Sqns.

Flight Lieutenant DAVID ASHOVER AFC - flew over fifty-four types of aircraft including Canberras with 9 & 213 Sqns and serving as a Test Pilot.

We’ll also have on display a huge selection of original artwork and secondary market pieces.

If you plan on coming in, even if it's only for 10 minutes, then please let us know so we can make sure we've got enough mince pies!
