Hawker Typhoon Event - 7 & 8 August
We’re delighted to be teaming up with the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group for this exciting weekend at the Wendover Gallery.
There’ll be special Typhoon artwork available PLUS a WWII veteran who flew Typhoons and is able to sign items for collectors:

Flying Officer BERNARD GARDINER
Volunteering for the RAF in October 1940, he completed pilot training and joined 193 Squadron initially flying Hurricanes before transferring to 257 Squadron equipped with Typhoons. Here he flew his first mission on 5 October 1944 and stayed with the unit until the end of the war carrying out ground attack missions against enemy transport and battlefield targets across France.

This is how the weekend will take shape:
Saturday 7th – Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group members only
Bernard will be signing 10.00 – 12noon plus 15.30 – 17.00
Sunday 8th – Gallery Open Day with limited spaces available
Bernard will be signing 09.30 – 11.30 only
An ideal opportunity to have your copy of Richard Taylor's new print TYPHOON STRIKE personally signed at the event by WWII veteran Bernard Gardiner!
