 In this piece Alan painted Pete Conrad and himself 239,000 miles away from Earth looking in the direction which they know as home. They both had come a long way having met 10 years before in a Navy test pilot school with Pete being one of Alan's instructors. Bean admired him for his professional skills and attitude - the best astronaut he had ever known. To Bean it was an incredible achievement to be standing with him on the moon. Even more so it was good to take the moment to reflect on all the dedicated people it took to get them from America to the Moon.

This limited edition print is hand-signed by Conrad and Bean themselves.
