GOLDEN EAGLE - Only 15 in this highly-restricted edition
Including the original autograph of the most highly-decorated German serviceman of World War II
The accomplishments of Hans-Ulrich Rudel were extraordinary: 519 enemy tanks destroyed along with a Soviet battleship, a cruiser, 70 landing craft, over 150 pieces of artillery, several armoured trains, numerous bridges, and bunkers, and more than 800 vehicles. Destined to become the most highly-decorated German serviceman of the war, he was the first and only recipient of the Knight’s Cross with Golden Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds.
Richard's graphic drawing depicts the scene as Rudel departs a snow-covered runway close to the embattled front lines on the bitter Eastern Front in late 1944.
A rare opportunity to acquire an ORIGINAL autograph of Hans-Ulrich Rudel!
Only FIFTEEN matted pieces are available worldwide through Richard's publisher and to make every print completely unique, each has been returned to Richard's studio for the inclusion of a specially-commissioned pencil Remarque in the lower border.
