High over Northern France, Sopwith Camels and SE5A fighters of the Royal Flying Corps tangle with the bright red tri-plane of Manfred von Richthofen and his JG1 fighter wing. The highly manoeuvrable fighters wheel and turn in the cauldron of close aerial combat and in the ensuing dogfight aircraft from both sides suffer significant damage.
Framed to full conservation standards, this stunning print has been personally hand signed by one of the few brave RFC Fighter pilots to survive the war:
