Originally released in 1994 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of D-Day, this masterpiece from the world's most collected aviation artist has been hailed by many leading veterans as one of the most realisitc portrayals of the Normandy Invasion ever painted. The edition is long sold out and now only available on the secondary market.
The print has been personally autographed by six outstanding veterans who flew combat missions on D-Day - a C-47 Pilot, four Mustang Aces, and a Waco Glider Pilot. The edition consists of three outstanding prints and included in the set are the matching-numbered companion prints INTO BATTLE and CRASH LANDING.
